InBody Scan
in Maricopa, AZ
The scale only tells you one number. An InBody scan tells you what's actually changing — body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, and body water. Know exactly where you stand before you start.
A 60-second test that shows you the full picture.
InBody is a professional body composition analyzer that uses bioelectrical impedance to measure what your body is actually made of — not just how much it weighs. You stand on the device, hold the handles, and get a detailed printout in about 60 seconds.
No pinching. No dunking in water. No uncomfortable measurements. Just data — broken down into clear, actionable numbers you can track over time.
It's the same technology used by sports teams, hospitals, and universities. We use it at Longevity Athletics to give every member a real baseline from day one.
The scale can lie. InBody doesn't.
You can lose 10 pounds of fat and gain 8 pounds of muscle — and the scale will say you only lost 2 pounds. Without an InBody scan, you might think the program isn't working when it's actually working better than expected.
Conversely, the scale can drop while you're actually losing muscle — which is exactly what happens with crash diets. InBody catches that immediately.
Real data leads to better decisions. Better decisions lead to better results.
Six numbers that tell the real story.
Every InBody scan at Longevity Athletics generates a full report you keep.
Body Fat Percentage
The clearest indicator of body composition. Tells you what percentage of your weight is fat versus lean tissue — far more useful than total weight alone.
Lean Muscle Mass
Total muscle mass across your body. Broken down by segment (arms, legs, trunk) so you can see exactly where you're building strength and where there's room to grow.
Fat Mass
Absolute pounds of fat in your body. Watching this number drop over time — independent of the scale — is one of the most motivating data points members track.
Body Water
Total body water — intracellular and extracellular. Useful for tracking hydration status and understanding day-to-day weight fluctuations that aren't fat or muscle.
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
How many calories your body burns at rest. Increases as you build muscle — which is one of the reasons strength training is so effective for long-term fat loss.
Segmental Analysis
Muscle and fat broken down by body region — right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg, and trunk. Identifies imbalances and tracks regional changes over time.
Why members stay motivated longer with InBody tracking.
Most people quit fitness programs because they can't see progress. The scale is a terrible motivator — it fluctuates daily based on water, food, hormones, and timing. It tells you almost nothing about what's actually changing.
InBody scans every 4–8 weeks give you a completely different picture. Members who track body composition stay in programs longer because they can see that the work is paying off — even when the scale is being uncooperative.
At Longevity Athletics, every member gets a baseline scan at their free intro and regular re-scans throughout their program. It's built into the system.
